These Terms govern your use of CanterSpace. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users below 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit.
  • Depict or promote animal cruelty or unsafe practices toward horses.
  • Spam, scrape, or misuse the platform.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to breach the platform's security.

4. Business listings

Business accounts must provide accurate information. No misleading claims, fake reviews, or unlicensed professional services. CanterSpace may remove listings that breach these rules.

5. Contacting other users (WhatsApp, messages)

Use in-app messaging and any contact details shared in the Directory only for genuine, relevant enquiries. Do not send unsolicited promotional messages. You must comply with the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and any applicable anti-spam laws.

6. Content ownership and licence

You own the content you post. By posting, you grant CanterSpace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Moderation

CanterSpace admins may hide, remove, or block content and accounts that breach these Terms, without prior notice. Repeated or serious breaches may result in permanent account termination.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Disclaimer

CanterSpace is provided “as is”. Content posted by users represents their own views and is not endorsed by CanterSpace. Directory listings are self-submitted; verify credentials before engaging any service provider.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, CanterSpace is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
